Summer Quest Day Camp
Quest Summer Day Camp began out of a willingness to offer a positive summer alternative to families and children. It targets kids ages 8-14 generally too old for day care and too young to stay home alone. The Quest mission is to work together with Quest staff to build character and integrity in the lives of children/youth in our community.
Our calendar for the summer is packed. Each week is focused around a theme. With activities such as swimming at the beach, ice skating in the summer or having a picnic lunch at a park, kids will experience a summer full of fun and excitement. Other activities like visiting a retirement center or stocking shelves at the food bank, teach kids the value of serving in their community. All activities in Quest serve as life learning experiences for children and their families.
This summer (2008), Quest starts June 11 and ends August 22.
The core program runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday thru Friday
$70/week (4-5 days); $60/week for additional children from the same family
or $18/day (1-3 days)
Extended care is available from 7 to 9 a.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. for $2.00/hr.
