YOUTH EVENTS
- We have a Medical waiver that we keep on file for our Events. You only need one if you don't already have one or it is not current for THIS year. If that's the case, then please download this form, fill it in and Bring it to Pastor Billy: Medical Waiver
- Here's our list of Typical Things to Bring and not To bring on Trips/Events, if there is something unique for a specific trip it will be listed and also common sense will dictate possible additional unlisted items.
Teen Bible Quizzing:
This is your chance to get to know the Bible better and compete with others for prizes! Find Ken Wakefield for more information on practice times, and to double check the listed Quiz Meet Places/Dates/Times.
August 25-29: Fair Fundraiser
Every year we raise mucho money for youth group events by helping the Stucke's work the Kootenai County Fair. You get paid for the amount of hours you work, so roll up the sleeves and pitch in! Sign-up is available in the youth room NOW!!!
September: Back to School Kick-Off
This year during the First HANG-IO of the YEAR we are going to have a kick'n party including a BBQ, SMORE's some cool games, skateboarding, etc. So come at 2:30 and celebrate new beginnings with us!
September 22: See You At the Pole
This is an awesome event that happens every year around the world! At 7am Teens gather together around the flag pole at their school to pray for their school, the country and the church! You'd be suprised how many christians are on campus and on fire for God, so check it out.
September 24-25: CAMP NEED
WE WILL BE DOING CAMP NEED, BUT IT WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE SUMMER, POSSIBLY JUNE. I WILL LET YOU KNOW ASAP WHEN WE LOCK IN A DATE.
We are going to help change the world! It's starts on Friday at noon when you eat your last meal for 30 hours and continues on when we meet at the Church at 4:00pm and ends saturday night at 8:00pm. We will be serving other people in various ways throughout the community and internationally by raising money. We will be CAMPING at the Church in a unique way and there will be numerous creative and meaningful times for you to encounter and grow closer to God. See Pastor Billy for more details.
What You NEED:
October 1-2: District Super 7
You and your friends have to come to this awesome event. Our entire Church District (about 20 youth groups) rent out the University of Idaho's athletic facilities including the Kibbie Dome! We have Flag Football, Volleyball, Basketball, swimming, video games, food, ultimate frisbee, free give-aways and more. The cost is $15 plus $ for dinner at the concessions stand (about $5-10 should be enough). The coach bus will depart from the CDA NAZ Church at 8:30pm on Friday night sharp and you must have a ride from the Church on Saturday morning at 8:00am. You really shouldn't miss this event and make sure you have company.

October 31: Children's Harvest Carnival
The Children's Harvest Carnival (Barbara if you want to help) is a great chance to help serve the community by offering a safe alternative for Halloween. The teens typically provide a fun activity in the teen room, like a cardboard maze for the children. There are also other activities throughout the Church for children to participate in and for teens and adults to help run. Thanks for Helping out!
December: Christmas Party
We will be celebrating Christmas with our very own party on Wednesday December 23 during the normal youth group hour 7pm-8pm! There will be food, and fun activities to be had. There will be a white elephant Gift exchange. So bring a WRAPPED (even if it's just in a shopping sack) present that is $5 or less in value and maybe a friend as well. GET IN THE SPIRIT!

December 31- January 1: New Year's Eve All-Nighter
It is our awesome, big new year's eve all-nighter! We will be having some of the old favorite activities of our all-nighters including sardines, a scavenger hunt, awesome food and we will also have some new surprises. So don't miss out and bring as many friends as you can. Cost is $ cash or check at the door. We will be starting at 7pm Thursday Night and ending at 7am on Friday morning. As always, please have a ride arranged promptly at 7am.
What You NEED:
Winter Retreat
We are going to have a blast this winter.... Wanna Come? We're going to Cocolalla Lake Campground just south of Sandpoint, ID for a great time. There will be sledding, snow fort, musical jam sessions, skateboarding in their indoor gym, worship, a great speaker and more in the works. We will leave in the morning Friday Jan 29 (no school) and we will return in the afternoon on Sunday the 31. Join us on this awesome chance to experience God and have a lot of fun in the process.
What You NEED:
February: Talent Nite
This is a chance for you to strut your stuff. Draw, design, Sing, play or talk your way into showing the gifts that God has given you. No entry fee, just talk to Pastor Billy or Barbara and get your talent in.
March-April: District Main Event
Our annual district Main Event is a plethora of competition events for guys and girls grades 7th-12th including;
All competitions are judged, or refereed by professionals and there are awards and trophies for participants. There are also times of worship and awesome speakers. So get together a group and compete in what Talent God has blessed you with.
April : District NYI Convention
This is a great mix of Meaningful Fellowship with Nazarenes, Awesome Worship and Great fun. The friday night Youth and missions service starts at 6:45pm and includes the Youth Band from St Maries. There will be fun things happening from 10pm til Midnight at the Spokane Valley YMCA including sports and swimming. Saturday morning is when the business sessions happen and is followed by relevant workshops to connect your faith to your world. We will be leaving friday night at (eat dinner before we leave) 6:00pm from the Church and will return around 12:30am. Saturday we will leave around 9:00am and be back in the afternoon.
June
11-12: Summer Kick-off All-Nighter
It's time to celebrate emancipation from the routine of your cognitive studies. SCHOOL'S OUT DUDE! We will be celebrating in full energy the beginning of summer with three F's that you actually want: Food, Fun and Friends. Don't worry, we don't give grades in Youth Group, so ditch the books for the last night and part-tae! Event goes from 7pm friday night to 7am Saturday morning.

July 2-14: Nazarene Youth Conference 2011
This is a once in a lifetime event; literally. It happens every 4 years and you only get to go as a High Schooler and trust me you want to go! We are packing up and heading to Louisville, KY for an awesome time worshipping, going to professional concerts, listening to inspiring speakers, changing the lives of others, and doing some awesome activities. It will change your life
July: District Jr High Camp
Our district puts together this awesome event every year at our very own camp Pinelow. It is filled with fun games, great speakers, and deep worship specifically designed for those going into 7-9 grade. There are also several tracks every day that you get to choose what YOU want to do. Areas include music, art, sports, spiritual development, outdoor recreation, paintballing, etc. Dont Miss out!

July: District Sr High Camp
Sr High Camp isn't just another summer camp, it is a chance for you to grow closer to God, grow closer to your friends, make some new friends, and have a lot of fun in the process. There are many activities inluding challenge course, night games, worship services, and more that are specifically designed for those going into 9-13th grades. Teens also get to choose which tracks they want to participate in during the day. Possible areas are worship leadership, spiritual development, sports, survival skills, art and more.

July: Creation Fest
We are going this year to the most awesome, coolest and best Christian Concert Event ever!!! There are dozens of the best Christian bands ever that will be playing every day at the Enumclaw, WA (About 1 hr SE of Seattle). There are also worship services and the best speakers in youth ministry that will be sharing God's message to you. This is easily the most band for your buck when it comes to christian concerts. We will be traveling, eating and camping as group so let PB know soon if you want to go so that we can get the group rate. Do not miss it!
